I talked to a man from Canada.

I go to school about airline and have a part time job at Korean restaurant. I was going to school and working for holiday. I took some classes from morning to evening and worked during night. I was very tired:( When I was working, a foreigner came to Korean restaurant where I work. A foreigner was a man from Canada. I talked with him. I told him to have been to America in Japanese, so he asked me that "How long?" in English. I answered in English. I told him that I wanted to be a flight attendant. He said to me "Fight!" I was very happy. I will do my best to be a flight attendant.

Something special I did during vacation

Something special I did during vacation was to go to America!! I went to America to participate in home stay program. This home stay program was first time for me. I had never been to America and taken part in home stay program, so going to America was exciting for me. Next I canoed  first in America. It was very exciting and I could feel nature. I rode horse back for the first time. And I went to some church on Sunday. I sang hymnes and prayed. What I experienced in America during this summer was almost first time for me. It was a great memory. I enjoyed my summer vacation.

Good and bad points about summer

Do you like summer? I like summer because my birthday is July and there is a summer vacation. Students have a long vacation so we can do many things which we can't do during going to school. For example, we can travel to many place, swim at pool and sea and sleep late. I think that summer is a very exciting season. On the other hand, summer is very hot and humid and there are many many homework during summer vacation until high school student. When we go out side, we need some cold drink and shade to escape from heat. The end of summer vacation is near, students are pressed by homework. What do you think?

How I study during the vacation

I study Englsh by going to America and school about English conversation during summer vacation. First, I went to America from July 24th to August 20th. I stayed with my host family. I met my host mother's relatives. I made conversation with them. I spoke English whole day and month, so my ears were used to hearing English. When I came back to Japan and went to school about English conversation, I could hear English easier before going to America. I need English conversation skill to be a flight attendant, so I want to study English more. I hope to go to America to meet my host family and study English.

What classes I will take

I will take classes about English, cultural communication, UN, history of America, English linguistics, Japanese linguistics and international law. I could get all credits of spring term. I am looking forward to taking English linguistics because I like English and linguistics. I think that language is a necessary mean to connect with other people. I went to America this summer. I could communicate with American by using English. I was excited when I could connect with American. I made many American friends. To study other language is to connect with other countries people. I want to communicate with many people from many countries, so I study language hard. I will do my best!!

Vacation Plans

My vacation plans are to go to America, Tokyo and Kagoshima. I am going to America to participate in homestay program. There are four people in my host family, host father, host mother, host sister and host brother. I want to play sports with my host sister and brother and cook meals with my host father and mother. Next, I am going to Tokyo to see airplane. I am going to study about airplanes and companies. I want to be a flight attendant, so I think it is good for me to go to Tokyo. Finally, I am going to Kagoshima because Kagoshima is my home town. I am going to meet my family, relatives and friends. I am looking forward to doing my vacation plans.
